Line and Shape
Throughout all of my photos, I have demonstrated elements of line and shape. All of my pictures were taken in my room, my kitchen, and living room. The photos I took are all close up. They vary a little in distance but for the most part are taken the same distance away. The photos I took all show specific lines and focal points. They show many shapes and figures. Most of the lines in these photos are continuous and are the main point of each photo. My point of view for my photos was either from above or below. I didn't take my pictures straight on, they were all taken at an angle. My photos are horizontal as well. No, none of my pictures were taken in the rule of thirds, I didn't take my picture based on that, One of my photos that is a dynamic composition that leads successfully through the viewers eyes are the picture of the lights on the wall. It leads your eye across the picture all the way to the other end, focusing on all the details in-between.
Pattern and Texture
In all of my Pattern and Texture photos, I captured the pictures relatively close. All of them were taken within a foot of the object. When I took these photos, the point of view was either above or below, at a slight angle. My best and favorite photo (crystal lamp), is a vertical picture. Yes, this photo does follow the rule of thirds, it it split up vertically into three ,major parts; each containing one major crystal. This photo is an example of mostly texture. An image that may be over exposed is the "Daisy flower". Its petals are brighter than the rest of the photo and takes up most of the space. An image that may be un der-exposed is the "Wall Branches" photo. There are parts of this photo that are extremely dark, the branches, and gives the photo a gloomy, eerie look. An image that is a properly exposed photo is the "Beaded Lamp" photo. There are just enough tones of grey, white, and black. It all blends together to create a great contrast and has great focal points and has a continuous pattern.
